Privacy

Privacy policy

CakeyTops is designed around practical browser-based tooling. That matters for privacy, because some of the most important workflows on the site, including image preparation and background cleanup inside the editor, are handled in the browser rather than as a public gallery or open content feed. This page summarises the current privacy position based on the code and features available today.

Account information

CakeyTops uses Supabase for account authentication. If you create an account or sign in, the service processes the basic information needed to manage that session and recognise your account.

Uploaded images

The current editor workflow is primarily browser-based. Image manipulation and background removal are designed to run client-side rather than being exposed as public uploaded content on the site. If storage-backed features are expanded later, this policy should be updated to reflect the exact retention and storage rules.

Local browser data

Some site preferences and working settings may be stored locally in your browser to improve usability, for example interface settings or currency choices. This helps the tools behave consistently when you return to the site.

Analytics and future updates

If analytics, marketing pixels, or new storage features are added later, this page should be updated so the public privacy position stays accurate. For now, this policy is intended to describe the current product behaviour rather than a hypothetical future stack.
